Renewed contract

I used the chat yesterday as I wanted to take the home phone off as I don’t use it. My contract is up in march. I was offered a deal of the gig1 broadband and mega tv which was the same as what i have now but still have the home line. I got a cheaper price which I was happy with, but I was told I would pay a one off fee of £35. Which was for ending the contract early. I was told that I also get homework but I wasn’t told that I would be charged for this and I don’t work from home. When I got the email the one off fee was £40.

    Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear that you have been given some confusing information regarding a package renewal. We do not charge fees on leaving your contract early when renewing a package. this may be for a activation of a new Hub or installation of some equipment if you have upgraded.
