Renewal

I have read others posts here and it seems I too am unable to follow the renewal offer link in my email. I thought this was a fantastic idea being able to renew a couple of months before the end of contract.

I phoned up last week after the first email and was eventually told there was no way I could get the same price or less for my current services.

So why still send me the email again this week? Why the useless links and why on earth would you think customers are going to stay with Virgin when a basic thing like following a link to renew doesn't work?

  • Just be aware when agreeing to renew you services this way.

    There have been many cases on here where people have renewed what they believed to be same package but actually ended up with a lesser service.

    One example of this is the removal of TNT Sports when customers renew this way.

    The link not working might be a blessing in disguise. 

     

     

  • It's either deliberate (and illegal) bait and switch marketing or the standard shambolic operational incompetence VM has become renowned for (or some messy combination of the two). Take your pick.
