Renewal of contract

My current contract is due to expire at the end of July and I am in the process of thinking whether to renew or not. I currently receive a promotional discount for all the sky sports and sky cinema hd channels and pay for tnt sports. My current package is maxit TV and also includes kids channel. We have 2 TV boxes as well. I have an online offer which says if I renew now I will pay slightly less than I am currently paying and my package will be exactly the same. I am reluctant to go ahead as last time ( 18 months ago) when I renewed I ended up losing channels and had to contact customer services to get it sorted. I have also spoken to Henry in the Phillipines retention team who says he can offer the same package I have now for a lot lower than my online offer which is confusing. As stated above last time I renewed by speaking to an agent my package was not as promised and I had to contact customer services to get it sorted. Just want same package as I have but slightly less especially as my promotional discount will expire at end of July. Advice and help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

    We don't do package changes here on the forums, however to set expectations, if you accept an offer over the phone, the advisor will send you a contract summary email or text which you can read before confirming you wish to proceed.

    This will then ensure you are happy with the price, deal and terms before continuing. 

    This is all done whilst you're still on the call to ensure you're happy to proceed. 

    This is the same for online orders, you'll be sent a document to check prior to agreeing to the contract. 

    If you are happy with the deal provided over the phone but haven't yet accepted, please call back if possible and the team can discuss if the offer is still available.

        As stated above I have 2 V6 boxes and have taken screenshots on my tablet but am finding it difficult to copy and paste them to this email. I just want the same package that I have now on an 18 month contract. I am a pensioner and not technically savvy. If you can help me to get these screenshots over to you I would be grateful.

         

  • Thanks Vikki can you also please just clarify one thing for me. On my online offer it says the new price and shows everything I currently have and when you go to customise it shows channels TNT, sky sports hd and sky movies hd  with a green tick so does this mean the price quoted includes these channels or will there be additional costs. Your agent in the Phillipines wasn't much help when I asked him.
