Re: Have to resubscribe to TNT Sports. What?

So today I went to watch MotoGP on TNT sports which I do via the Virgin TV GO because I watch it whislt on my PC.

The channel was off for me, I checked my email and VM sent me an email saying cos I havent used TNT they are removing it  and i can request access back via a link.   I did that but the link says 48 hrs.

I did call customer service and after waiting 45mins to talk to somebody they said it would cost me £18 a month, I argued that my contract includes it and she wouldnt put it back on.... took me 10 mins arguing till she put me on hold and came back and sorted it - good.

However I have missed 1/2 of the MotoGP race now as a result of the delay.     I also know that when my contract ends September I will be cancelling my VM service 100% because they have changed the TV package to NOT included TNT sports and want to charge me MORE for a lesser contract.    VM need to get a grip, I understand that TNT sports are calling the shots here, but VM are my provider and if they offer a lesser package, then the price should be lowered accordingly as a result - combined wiht the fact that the 1gig internet service only comes with 50mbps upload - I'm done with VM once my contract ends in September.   

Open Reach is now available in my area, so I will switch to them come contract end time and source TV services elsewhere as it is about the value or lack of as a customer from virgin here.

Shame really as I have been with VM for over 18 years.
