I have had a private message to my question saying one of the Virgin team will call me. I don't want to sound rude or ungrateful but how do I know if they are from Virgin. Their profile doesn't say Forum team but 'settling in since Monday?'
This could well be a scammer. I have seen two recent reports of forum users receiving a scammer contact after posting a query on here.
Most communication with VM on here is via PM or the public message board

Users can also "flag to a moderator" DMs in the same way as for forum posts.
Below the username in everyone's posts, is their forum rank. "Moderator" or "Forum Team" with the VM logo are VM-forum staff, anyone else - is not.
"Very Insightful Person" is an invite-only rank for regular &/or experienced users. "Settling in", as mentioned, is a relatively new user. Click on any username for some stats around that user's history - number of posts, joined date etc. The more posts and/or the amount of time registered - are all good clues to how reliable that poster is.
