People getting an email bounce

Since changing over to "new verification email address" system some people are reporting they are getting a bounce saying their email to me has not been delivered to me, whereas in fact I have received it, it is annoying both them as me as they then are having to Text me too.

I am presuming I am still meant to be actually using my Virgin email address as my email address, not the one I have had to create for login to VirginMedia/O2 ?

    Because of the problems I was having with the Virgin Media email app I had set up an "auto forward" on all my Virgin emails to me new mailto:....@Outlook.com email address.

    I have now deleted the "auto forward" and people who were previously getting the "email not delivered" message are no longer getting that message.

    Sorry to hear of the E-Mail bounce notification being received by those trying to contact you.

    Can you please confirm if you send any E-Mails, if this message is issued to you?

    In terms of those who are in receipt of this message, is this a particular common domain or is this a case of multiple different domains experiencing this issue with the Virgin Media E-Mail address?

    Is it also just one E-Mail address that this is in relation to, or do you have multiple sub E-Mail addresses connected to your Virgin Media account that generate a similar or identical experience for users who are trying to reach out to you?

    Consider asking they review the bounce message as it seems likely to be a notification of delayed delivery; if it is ask them what reason was given so you can raise it with Virgin Media.

    I have not been getting bounces on emails I have sent out.

    People with the following email addresses have reported an "email not delivered" bounce, although I think I have always received the email in question.

    email.firstdirect.com,  halifax.co.uk, btinternet, gmail

  • Oh, and there are 3 email address in use off our account, I believe I'm the only one getting the problem.

      How many people are saying they are getting this bounced email?

      What emails are they using, are they all coming from the same server? So for example are they all Gmail emails trying to reach you?
