Offer of a new contract before the old one expires

I renewed my Volt contract a few months ago and it expires in September 2024. When I renewed via chat I was told that this contract would be exempt from the annual price rise in April 2024 and I kept screen shots showing the conversation. I do not see it documented anywhere in my contract however. 

I have just logged into my account and see that I could accept a new contract at the same price for 18 months from today but that would be liable to the price increase.

Obviously I would be silly to renew today if my existing contract is exempt. Can someone check for me please.

    Unfortunately, at this stage we're unable to comment on any future price rises so we'd be unable to confirm or deny this either way.

    However, as you've mentioned you have screenshots of this interaction, if anything does happen with this next year please don't hesitate to let us know in this thread and we can deal with this appropriately.

    I was told to reply if I am informed of an increase. I have been told that I will be getting an increase in April. I can supply the screenshots from the online chat that I had last year when I negotiated my current contract if you want me to upload them.
