O2 confusion

Hello took out new,and better contract in November I believe. Although now after three months of free sim, I’ve now got to pay £18 for a sim I don’t use. If this was explained to me I don’t remember. My question is can I cancel the sim with O2 without losing any benefits of my VM package?

    Welcome back to our forums. Sorry to hear there is confusion regarding your package. Generally, if you took out a Volt deal (Both O2 and VM), you will have to pay 2 bills. You do however get benefits for a Volt package. You may lose your Volt benefits if the sim is cancelled. Have you been able to check your O2 sim to see if there was a discount code that expired? Are you still interested in removing the sim?

      Thanks for replying I’m not sure what benefits there are with the Volt package, and I’m not sure how to check th O2 side of things.

      I don’t actually want the sim, but do not want to lose any other items from my VM account

        We can have a look into this for you and let you know the effects of losing the sim. However to cancel the sim, you will have to contact O2 directly. We have sent you a private message.
