Ntlworld and myvirgin media login issues
trying to login to myvirgin media. all old details seem to have vanished and it is almost like it is setting up a new account.
I have an ntlworld.com email account, I am a secondary email account not the master VM account holder email. i access this ntlworld.com email acct from an outlook IMAP client, this has started to reject my account password which has worked for a long while. to get a new ntlworld.com email password i am trying to login to myvirgin media, but this won't login with my normal myvirginmedia login details.
I only get so far through the myvirginmedia login (using a different email to my ntlworld.com one) and it looks like it is setting up a new registration for my account. it goes to a settings and ID screen and tries to force me to link my o2 account, I which don't have.
There is a skip link but it does nothing. If i follow the instructions to link my O2 account, which I don't have, it asks me for the account email and if I enter the email name account number and area code, it makes my secondary email the master account ID! which takes me to the ntlworld.com email account linked to the master account. not my own secondary email account.
My husband has the main VM account and an ntlworld.com email account.
I have a secondary VM account and a ntlworld.com email account.
how can i get my myvirginmedia email account to allow me to loging normally so that I can reset the password on my ntlworld.com account?
best regards M Catling
