New sign up - Does anything actually work?

I signed up for new service last night. 

During sign up, I had to tick to indicate I had read the Contract Summary Sheet and Contract Info sheet.
Both of these links led to 404 page not found errors.
I had to tick I had read the Virgin Media Terms and Conditions
This link just led to the VM front page.
I said I'd read them, as at least I read the pages they linked to, and it completed signup.  At least I then got the first two in email.

This morning, I get an email asking me for more information about the property.  The link takes me to a page with some FAQs and two "Tell us about your property" buttons.  Neither button does anything when I press it.  I have tried on four different browsers, two each laptop and mobile, in case that was an issue. (I usually use an obscure one.)

I try logging in using the link at the top of the page.  It asks for my email address, which I give it, and it them emails me a link. (I hate these, why can't you just accept a password rather than make me run through hoops.)  Clicking the link in the email takes me to another page that says ok, go back to where you were.  I do this.  That page has refreshed to  "Sorry, something went wrong."

I go back to the tell us about your property page.  At the bottom it says "Have we saved you a phone call?" I click No, then Call us.   I telephone the number given, and it won't do anything without me giving it a 9-digit account number.  I don't yet have this.  All I have is an order reference.  The emailed pre-contract documents have a space for an account number, but it's blank.

This is not a good start.  I am seriously reconsidering if this is a service I want to commit to two years of dealing with.
