New cable installed OVERGROUND and is sticking up and over the public pavement?

Hi,

Been having intermittent signal for over 18 months now, eventually VM found these connection issues on their system.
VM come round and find damage to cable where it leaves the catv JB in public pavement before going underground to house entry point.
So, they splice in and add an overground cable that runs in the border with adjacent property, cable was not long enough so it is 'tight' and is airborne!!

I have pictures of this but as a newbie not sure how to upload?

TIA

Hi Cyprus45 👋 Welcome to the community forum! Thanks for posting.

Sorry to hear about your service issues, and the problems with external cabling after trying to get it sorted!
We will need to raise a complaint, and attach the images you have sent over. We can then escalate this back to the field and construction teams who manage these kinds of cases and can get it sorted for you.
I will send you a PM to confirm a few details and offer some assistance. Please keep an eye on your Inbox 📩 in the top right corner of the page.

We can return to this public thread with another update when possible. Thanks for your patience and co-operation in the meantime! 🌞

In fairness to the technician, when I had a repull it was left in a similar way, i.e. over the grass and stuck in the hedge etc.  The guy just didn't have the facilities to bury the cable at the time.  It was done to get my Broadband up and running quickly.  It was a couple of weeks before another team, 2 guys, arrived and they finished the groundworks.
