Netflix

We have been with Virgin Media for years and have phone broadband and mega bundle (I think its called) TV. I would like to get the free Netflix activated but im struggling. I have tried following suggestions from the forum but it wants to charge me and add it to my bill. I believe I should be getting this without charge. Can anyone help me please or suggest anything? Thank you.

    Hi K_W

If free Netflix with ads is not listed as part of your current package then you would need to recontract to one of the packages that include the free netflix with ads which are part of VM's bundles which were refreshed on October 2nd.  This is standard practice for VM.

Info below from /news.VMO2 offers more choice & flexibility

New and re-contracting customers can choose from five core TV packages which have been refreshed and renamed with simple, more descriptive titles to better support households in choosing a package that is right for them.

Netflix included standard: Applies to all Mega TV bundles (regardless of broadband speed) and broadband only packages that include M500 broadband or above as a primary offering. Customers who get a boosted broadband speed as a result of Volt e.g. M350 boosted to 500Mbps will not be eligible for Netflix Standard with Ads to be included within their bundle cost.
