Netflix sign in option gone, now a forced linked account option

Hello. The sign in option which you typically see on the Netflix channel of 204 and Netflix App no longer exists and I only have a forced option of linking my Netflix account to Virgin Media, which I do not wish to do. I do not subscribe to Netflix through Virgin. I spent over two hours on the phone with various Virgin Media representatives yesterday to no avail. You still see the Netflix sign in option on Sky Tv, BT etc but Virgin have removed from channel 204 and the Netflix app of its 360 tv box. Is there a fix anyone knows of please? Thank you.

    Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear the issue that you are facing with Netflix. Could you please check your 360 box and ensure that all updates have been completed and reset the box. Let us know how you get on.

      Hi, the software is up to date at 5.16 version and I have completed a third factory reset, yet there remains no option to sign into Netflix, only a forced link account option. I wait your response. I understand this is a long standing issue for you from earlier feeds but there must be fix, as I am aware other 360 box users do not have this issue. I await your response. Thank you

        Hi DiDimp 👋 Thanks for getting back to us! 
        Sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused as a result of the issues with the Netflix App on your TV. You should be able to log in with your own account (not linked via My VM.) There was a known nationwide issue with this yesterday, which has now been reported as resolved. 🤞

        If you can try rebooting the box today and let us know if it's all sorted? Thank you! 🌞
