Netflix Hacked

Disappointing service from Virgin Media (VM). My Netflix account through VM has been hacked and the language has been changed along with my email and login. 

I've tried speaking to Netflix and VM (over 4 hours of calls and online chat) but nobody has been able to help me to resolve the issue.

I've been locked out of my account for 10 days and am paying for a service I can't use. I asked VM to start the process to end my contract but apparently I would have to pay £535! I've been a customer for over 20 years!

I've escalated the my complaint and have given feedback but still nothing.

    You are not alone.  If you do a quick search of the Forum you will find lots of similar reports.  Personally I’m glad I did away with VM TV a long time ago.  I prefer to look after my own streaming services.

      Thank you. I will be leaving VM at the first opportunity. Just wish I'd done it sooner!

  • I can help with this! I have had a few customers (I'm a tech) have this issue. You will need to phone netflix to give them a code though. But I can direct you to the code easily

     

    1. Open up netflix on tv. (This can be the TV itself or the virgin box, will work on both)
    2. Type in this sequence of buttons. Don't worry about what's its saying on screen just hit all buttons 
    3. Up, up, down, down left, right, left, right, up, up, up, up 
    4. Wait a minute then a get help menu should pop up. 
    5. Move to contact us and it will have a code. From there, give it to netflix customer services. And they should be able to assist you on reclaiming your account back

    I really hope this helps as there is nothing worse when your account is hacked 🤞🤞
