Linking Virgin Media and o2

As an existing customer of both services I am being forced to link the two services. Every time I go to Verify it says I’m not registered or, if I receive a code, it takes me to a screen from which I cannot advance. None of my passwords seem to work and I’ve wasted far too much time on what should be a simple task.
