I am also having the below issue
I’m a new customer to virgin media and now have an active service, but im unable to link my broadband account to my Virgin Media O2 ID as after inputting the account number/area reference, it says the account has a different email to the one used for the ID (it doesn’t - they’re the same), and will not accept the correct email.
