I’ve just left Sky to come to Virgin. What a horrific mistake I’ve made.

I was told Paramount+ and Disney were included in my package. They turn out to be added extras. These salesman lie through their teeth to get a sale. What a mug I am for believing him.

I was also sold a SIM card with my package. That was promised to be sent out the day after I signed up. A month later it isn’t here.

my TV and broadband was installed two weeks ago and I detest everything. Am I still in the cooling off period or has that time elapsed? Can’t stand 18 months of this rubbish.

  • You have been badly advised by someone, Paramount + is available using the app if you subscribe.

The fact that you haven't received your O2 SIM sounds like the order hasn't been processed properly, you would need that to activate your Volt benefits and get Disney + free for 6 months.

  • I’ve also been duped into signing up with Virgin. I was told over the phone that Paramount + and Disney were included in my package. I wasn’t told they were available at an extra cost.

I’ve been with Virgin for two weeks now and I’m regretting it big time. I’ve been waiting for a month for my SIM card to be sent out (I don’t want it now Virgin, I will be cancelling that direct debit). I’ve rang them up and spoke to two Indian women who say they’ll help, then they press a button and I’m back to my phone ringing out again for ages.
it’s shocking that there’s no live chat facilities or even an email address. Really poor firm.

If you have a 360 box press the Home button and go to Apps, the Paramount + app is in there, if you subscribe to P+ you can watch it on the 360.

    Hi Kenbo1 👋

Thanks for posting, and a warm welcome to the Community Forums.

I'm sorry to hear about the experience you have had when speaking with our Sales Team. For clarity, was is during the call for your order where you were advised of the Disney+ and Paramount+ services, or after?

On your Pre-Contract Documents, is Disney+ and Paramount+ stated under "TV Services"? As mentioned by roy247, with a new O2 service, you would get Disney+ free for 6 months as part of a chosen extra.

In regard to the SIM Card, we do not have access to O2 systems via this platform, and it would be best to contact O2 directly on 📞 0344 809 0202, where the team can locate any orders for you, and re-send any SIM Cards.

    Cheers,
