Help with changing direct debit

Hello, 

looking for help. I’ve tried to change my direct debit online in ‘ My Virginmedia’ but a message said that bank details could not be verified. I left it a day and tried again and got same message. Now it just goes to a ‘we’re sorry page’ . The bank details were correct and I really don’t want to go through the hassle of trying to phone. Thank you.
