Free TV Offer, not received

I have seen several posts about this but it seems the only way to actually receive the promised free gift is to complain, complain, complain

Installation date 26th July - and as yet, no TV, or even any idea when it will be sent

I have made 4 complaints, and been told another team will handle it and respond in 72hours. Not had a single piece of contact from them!

This is basically a scam, i'd be interested to hear from anyone who actually received there free TV without complaining and on time....

    Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

    I'm sorry to hear you haven't received your TV gift. 

    For most gifts, our trusted partner will dispatch your hardware gift within 45 days of the activation or installation of your Virgin Media services. Once your gift has been despatched, it should be delivered to you within 14 days.

    As that time frame has passed, I'll send you a private message to look into this further.

    Please look out for the envelope in the top right of the page and pop back to me when you can. 

     

  • Currently at over 80 days from installation waiting for any sort of answer of when the TV is coming. Made 4 complaints, get the same rubbish answer each time. I will also be complaining to the Comms Ombudsman as it is an absolute joke! Impossible to speak to an actual human to resolve the issue. I knew I should of gone with Sky....

      By all means complain to the Ombudsman, but I think you would have more success with Trading Standards. 

      TS may well advise you thst since VM has failed to complete the sale by supplying all the promised goods, they have broken the contract and you can walk away to Sky.  This would apply to anyone else who has not received the contracted goods.
