Free gift - Not received?

I joined virgin media back in March when they were offering a free IPad for a march deal if you joined thier mega bundle. I have yet to receive this iPad. When phoning up I was told it can take over 90 days but when purchasing it said within 28 days of my broadband being switched on the iPad will be sent out. I’ve emailed the tlcawards email address provided on the help page and had no response. What is going on and why aren’t you honoring this gift?

    Virginmedia will blame tlcawards, and they will blame Virginmedia. That's how these promotions usually work. You'll be lucky to get anything.

      We're sorry to hear, you've not received your iPad yet.

      TLC, will dispatch your iPad within 28 days of the activation or installation of your Virgin Media services. Once your iPad has been dispatched, it should be delivered to you within 14 days. If the whole 42 days have passed, please contact TLC by emailing myreward@tlcrewards.com.

  • I have the same issue. Web chats, which I screenshotted, initially said 28 days then 45 days and telephone call today said 90 days. All a big con. I’ve spent hours chasing this and been fobbed off too many times that I will now be cancelling my direct debit and seeking services elsewhere. Just a bunch of liars!

What is the latest advice from the team about this issue? Also, please don't cancel your direct debit as that will not cancel your services with us your account will continue to be billed and may affect your credit score.
