First time user of virgin media WIFI confused

Hi, I’ve ordered M250 Fibre Broadband, 30 day rolling contract. I’ve ordered online and then only got contracts sent over, I haven’t had a confirmation email or any welcome email. So I called this morning to chase it up and was told it didn’t go through but they will push it through over the phone manually, I still have no confirmation emails or welcome emails, I only have an email with contracts on it. On top of that I have the £80 (rolling contract fee and set up fee) charged to my card twice as a pending charge, I have 1 from the website and the other from over the phone for the same order/contract. I don’t know what is standard and isn’t, but is it normal to not have any information about delivery. I’ve not been contacted by the delivery companies either I just got a verbal “yes” on the phone confirming it will be next day delivery. I’m not sure what to do, is the lack of emails, confirmations normal and I should just wait until expected delivery times.

  • Furthermore! I can’t make an account as I when I put my account number (from my card I’m charging it on) it says it’s not linked. My area code Brighton, I was told was area 20 as well. Please let me know what to do!
