Equipment problems

I wish to report a problem with what I assume is a Virgin Media equipment hub. The equipment is housed within a walled enclosure which is full of weeds, rubbish and even a couple of trees. The electronic equipment is housed inside a brick built block with holes in its roof. The main surrounding enclosure has double doors which are unusable, with one lying on the ground and the other rotting away. Any engineers attending this equipment are having to work in an undesirable environment where rats and other vermin have been seen. It has become an eyesore to anyone living near it, as well as a hazard to those who have to work in it.                                  The unit is sited in the West Midlands, near Brierley Hill, at the end of Perrott Gardens on the Clockfields Estate, just off Brettell Lane. The postcode of the nearest house is DY5 3FF. The equipment housing (hidden under tree's) is marked: M11031311A                        I have only ever seen engineers from Virginmedia go to this equipment, but it may well be shared with other companies.

  • Hi Bigfoot1822 👋 Thank you for bringing this to our attention and welcome to the Virgin Media Community 😀

Would it be possible to provide a photo of the equipment?

    Regards,

    Daniel

      Hi there,

Four months ago I raised the issue of an overgrown enclosure (M11031311A) sited at DY5 3FF - Perrott Gardens, Brierley Hill and received a response stating it would be looked into.

I can appreciate that there are more important tasks than clearing undergrowth from a workspace and making it more secure, but the condition is only getting worse. It is an eyesore to the residential area and so I am bringing it to your attention again.

Hopefully, this time it can be resolved.

      Many Thanks,

      Bigfoot1822

Sorry to hear this overgrown enclosure issue is still ongoing. We can assure you that our team will aim to do their best to resolve this for you. By any chance, are you able to send a picture of the enclosure so we can forward this to the relevant team?
