Don't wait to get your best renewal price email received

Are these emails genuine or a scam. I received two both from email em virgin media co uk

I replied and took up my offer from the first one. Quite happy with the price offered. It's now been 14 days and I've heard nothing despite the contract information sheet and contract summary sheet both being emailed immediately to me.

 

No sign of this new contract in my account. No one to ask about it . Please help

    Thanks for posting and bringing this to our attention. When taking out an offer via My VM it can take up to 14 days to complete. It bodes well that you received a contract summary sheet. 

    I will send you a PM to confirm a few details and offer further support with your contract / package. You can find this in your Inbox 📩 in the top right corner of the page. We can then return to this public thread with another update when possible. Thanks for your patience in the meantime! 🌞

  • Thank you Molly_T for your first class assistance with this issue. I can confirm these emails aren't scams. Molly pmd me and checked everything out with my contract renewal request and sorted it all out for me. Awaiting the contract's arrival on my account page in n the coming days but I am confident all is resolved to my satisfaction. Thank you once again Molly_T

      Hi All 👋 Thanks to tafrock for PMing with me, and for their patience whilst I was able to get this sorted. 

      Sincerest apologies about the experience you had with getting the package sorted initially - I'm glad to have been able to help get it sorted, and I've raised it internally as a concern with the messaging on these emails / My VM.

        Unfortunately today I received my first regular bill since this issue was seemingly sorted to my satisfaction. I am disappointed to report my bill was £11 more than I anticipated despite Molly_T going to great lengths to arrange my contract renewal at the promised price of £81.10

         I have sent @ Molly_T a pm in an effort to get my contract corrected to the agreed amount 

  • Despite all the cynicism from other correspondents on this thread I cannot emphasise how impressed I am with Molly_T and her prompt handling of the issues I have been facing

    It appears the increased cost has been caused by my netflix remaining as netflix standard and only netflix with ads is now included in Virgin packages .

    Molly arranged for a credit to be added to my bill to cover the erroneous increased charges. I await my revised bill to see if all is once again correct.
