Direct debit problem

Hi, my direct debit was coming out on 21st each month, but money going into my bank account was changed until 27th of the month. As I had no money till then I cancelled my direct debit a few days ago and changed it to 29th of month. The payment to virgin tomorrow will fail, I can make a card payment to virgin on 27th this month direct debit date will be fine, but will I get a late payment charge? Will my services be affected?

    We can change your direct debit date if you wanted to?

    I would advise you to pay this as soon as you can do to avoid these charges.

      Hi I have changed direct debit to 29th of the month but it won't take effect until April. Can only pay current bill on 27th or 28th manually when my bank credit goes in to my bank. Will my services be restricted? Will I get a late payment fee?

        I would advise speaking to the Collection team to see if they can look at adding a promise to pay on 0345 454 1111
