Direct debit date

I'm fuming right now.  On the 3/4  I spoke to an advisor where I updated my package and changed my direct debit date due to my work changing. I changed this to the 1st of the month and have the email to prove it.

Well it's the 23rd and the money has been taken including the amount that was adjusted for the change in date to two weeks later. I'm left with no money to eat.

I'm getting no where with chat. How is this happening. Are you going to take another payment on the 1st? What do I do.

    Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear that your Direct Debit did not leave when expected. This can be down to a bill already in generation phase and most Direct Debit changes will not be affected until the following month.
