Not really sure! But I have one set up correctly with the email address I want to use and my Virgin and o2 accounts correctly linked. And then I now have another shared ID for my other email address, nothing is linked but I just want to delete it. I think maybe I started setting it up thinking I was just logging into my Virgin account?

If you have more that one mailbox (email address) you need more than one VMO2ID, as each mailbox is now a separate identity. Is this perhaps what you have done?
