def01 error on My Virgin as new customer

Had Virgin installed today and can't access my Virgin app as getting a Def01 error when trying to complete my registration. 

 

This means I can't make any changes via the app.  Have tried the app several times and on other devices etc, but all not working.  Not a great start to Virgin!

    I am so sorry that you have faced an issue with your service and thank you again for posting. Can I ask if you have tried registering on both the app and the site?

      Thank you nulasille can I also check, are you using a non virgin email address to register? Also does the email address have any special characters at all as this can cause an issue when registering.

        Yeah, it’s a gmail account. There’s a full stop in it though
