Damage to external equipment

The Virginmedia box on the external wall of our property is damaged with the wires exposed. However the Broadband service is still operating correctly. I have tried to report it several times, but there is no option to book an engineer visit if it is still working. How can I get it repaired please. I want to avoid further damage which will impact our broadband service.
