Customer Renewal/Retention

Is it REALLY the case that Virgin Media cares not one single iota about long standing customers?

 

I have been with virgin since it BECAME virgin and have rarely had an issue.  now, when I am trying get a decent renewal deal, the BEST price that I can get is £100 per month MORE than a new customer and no chance whatsoever of the free TV that is being offered.  Is this really what customers are worth?

    As an existing customer, you are already paying VM money. VM likes this and would, ideally, like to take even more of your money, if possible.

    New customers are not yet paying VM any money so VM offers incentives to make this happen, such as a free TV. Once the new customer is onboard, VM will treat them in the same way as you are being treated now

    Vote with your feet if VM's renewal offer is no good. Some things that others have tried to get a better deal are mentioned below from a topic yesterday
