Contract renewed when moving house?

When moving house, my new contract hasn't been adjusted to match the remaining period from my original contract. How do I get this rectified ? I can see from all the similar posts that this is a regular issue, help required please.

    We're sorry to hear there are some discrepancies on your contract at your new address. When you move, a new account is set up. As long as you keep everything the same, then your price and contract term would continue. The only thing that would change is your first bill.

    As the system automatically sends a contract out when the new account is set up, it will show a minimum term date however we do manually amend this from our end to match your previous account. This won't reflect on your end I'm afraid. We can take a look at the account though to ensure this has been done to give you peace of mind.
