contract renewal

Anyone manage to get a sensible renewal offer in the 30 days prior to contract end that anywhere matched the "new" customer ones. 

customer for 20plus years and have just had a 5 month early renew now offer on M250, currently paying what I think is a ridiculous £48.63 and apparently will go up to £57.73, online offer is £56.61/60.41 in Apr26/£64.41 in Apr27 - so its clearly advantages to take your business elsewhere at those prices.

New customers on M350 being offered 25.99/29.99 2026/33.99 2027 over 29months that's 500+ cheaper working on my current price.

clearly no interest in customer retention nowadays.

  • Those are very steep prices. It is early days mind. Try much nearer the end of the contract and try regularly. If need be switch.

  • I'm going to phone the Retentions team tomorrow as I just had an absolutely maddening online chat.
    My contract currently up in mid-Jan and I'm paying £ 44.06 per month for the 1Gig service - my renewal "offer" is for £ 45.38 per month, but if I were a new customer it's only £ 29.99 per month (and alternatives are just over £ 30).
    The online customer service person offered me their best deal of £ 46 per month (so more than the renewal offer I already have!!) and said there was nothing more they could do and would I like to cancel now...
    I'll let you know how I get on.

      We're sorry to hear you're unhappy with the renewal offers you've got available to you. The best offers will always be available when you're in the last 30 days of your minimum term. 

      From time to time, we have special offers and promotions to welcome new customers on board. When this offer ends, the package price will revert to the standard package price for the bundle. Although they may not always be available to existing customers, that doesn't mean that you miss out once you've joined us. We often have offers and special deals on our services, or one-off promotions to make sure you carry on getting the value you'd expect.
