contract renewal

All this faffing about and time wasting .. it is all time in your life completely wasted .. now time is a precious thing that comes and goes.. your time is yours to spend as you like use every precious second that you have in your life .. just think of that .. not spend or waste it with VM CServices.. I would seriously bin VM and get a proper ISP definitely .. many out there to choose from ..good luck

  • I cannot wait to leave after being shafted on my latest contract with Virgin media ... trouble is cancelling my contract going to be expensive over £600 at least .. I checked .. now it all depends on what you are going to replace it with .. and is the Openreach fibre empire near you ?.. hey if not wireless WIFI all is possible .. I have to bite the bullet in my case ..good luck if you are not in cotract .. I would be packing my bags and saying adios to VM .. wise to do so

  • Join the " shafted by VM club" .. there must be quite a few.. I was duped by a female CS VM rep over my bill .. promising me that bill would stay the same .. but it it went up by 15%..Hey ho its away I g..o. cancellation too costly for me quote to go ... over £600.. and so my feet are are on the starting blocks unfortunately the starter will not fire the pistol until 30 days before 5th March 2026 .. I might be able to leave sooner if I I am given some financial redress by my new ISP whose contenders for my business and VMs loss are already lining up with their business..There's a telegraph pole in front of me about 8 yards away having both Openreach and BRSK empires attached which is comfort .. .. good luck.

     

     

     

  • I was shafted like you by VM on this TNT deal when renewing my contract . CS lying to me about price of TNT would not change and guess what ..it did.. I am paying the extra .. going to an eye watering £126 pm this April ... from £118 ..so the empires of BRSK and OPENREACH currently sit on or attatched to a wooden telegraph pole just 9 yards from me as I write this which is comfort and I am constantly been badgered for thier business .. reach your your conclusion .. join the " shafted by VM group " a lot of members.

  • I agree totally .. sorry I cannot be of assistance but rest assured you are not the only customer of VM sailing their boat down the river of frustration + anguish .. VM shafted me by their CS staff on renewal and lied .. twill cost like you £600 to leave .. I have learned a very expensive mistake which I will not make again..luckily for me the www empires of Openreach and BRSK  await my attention on a wooden telegraph pole 10 yards in front of me as I write this ... good ...and best of luck

        Oh yes .. when I negotiated a renewal contract in September of 2024 I contacted customer services and I was informed by the female representative that my bill would remain at £109 per month and not increase and that VM would NOT apply the increase of TNT services which I should be paying and agreed to ...fine... thank you I said to HER ..she said VM would NOT apply this increase and I would definitely pay 109 pounds for the contract for 18 months and not to worry <<<<<<<<ok .

        My bill is now and has been £118 .. per month since that renewal contrac....t and will be an eye watering £126 from April .. I was lied to by her ..not £109 as she told me.. I have complained to Virgin Media and have received information that they cannot find any evidence of this and I have to find recordings inferring these facts are not correct and I feel that they are inferring that I am lying .

        This is most distasteful. and dishonest by VM..I cannot prove what she told me I do not keep recordings.. I am a Senior citizen of 71 years. VM is too expensive... and I then enquired about cancellation and was told it would be over £600 pounds ..phew .. I will be so glad to leave VM at the end of my contract I cannot afford the bill to leave right now ..It will be definitely a  firm cancellation 30 days before March 6 th 2026 and... it will cost your company a loss of revenue and business  from me of what was...  a loyal customer thank you.

  • Well sounds it is good news for you .. renew at your own risk.. anything is unpredictable .as for me.I renewed in Sept 2024 speaking directly having an actual speaking conversation with a customer services rep over my renewal ....I was lied to ..and ended up paying now 15% more that I was told by her... and it would be over £600 to cancel now all my VM services .. which I would love to do ..anything in life is risky and I would definitely not trust VM... WHATSOEVER  ,, " cavaet emptor ' .. in Latin means ..let the buyer beware which befits VM in entirety .
