Oh yes .. when I negotiated a renewal contract in September of 2024 I contacted customer services and I was informed by the female representative that my bill would remain at £109 per month and not increase and that VM would NOT apply the increase of TNT services which I should be paying and agreed to ...fine... thank you I said to HER ..she said VM would NOT apply this increase and I would definitely pay 109 pounds for the contract for 18 months and not to worry <<<<<<<<ok .
My bill is now and has been £118 .. per month since that renewal contrac....t and will be an eye watering £126 from April .. I was lied to by her ..not £109 as she told me.. I have complained to Virgin Media and have received information that they cannot find any evidence of this and I have to find recordings inferring these facts are not correct and I feel that they are inferring that I am lying .
This is most distasteful. and dishonest by VM..I cannot prove what she told me I do not keep recordings.. I am a Senior citizen of 71 years. VM is too expensive... and I then enquired about cancellation and was told it would be over £600 pounds ..phew .. I will be so glad to leave VM at the end of my contract I cannot afford the bill to leave right now ..It will be definitely a firm cancellation 30 days before March 6 th 2026 and... it will cost your company a loss of revenue and business from me of what was... a loyal customer thank you.
