Contract renewal offers

Have Virginmedia stopped sending contract renewal offers? My contract ends in 7 days and I have had nothing. I've been with Virginmedia for over 20 years and have always received a renewal offer in the past. Has the company changed it's policy and stopped doing this?

    Just phone in and ask for Retention’s.  Make sure you have done comparisons so you can discuss pricing.

    I agree with Adduxi​  it may be best speaking to retentions.  They have better offers than the front line agents.  Although you might speak to a first line agent to begin with tell them you are wanting to speak to cancellations and they should then pass you through to the actual retentions agent.  

    Also, have you tried signing into https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/  and clicking on "Upgrade package"? This may show you online offers currently available to yourself, or a link to a chat box to discuss a new package/contract.

    Also check your marketing preferences within My Virgin Media as you that may be turned off, hence no emails.   

    My contract isn't due for renewal until November, however I've been receiving email offers for the past two months, so I suggest that you check your spam/junk folder in case any emails have been diverted there.

    We still do send these out to customer. Have you checked your spam inbox? Sometimes mail can go there.

    Thanks for your advice folks. Phoned retentions and offered a 24 month contract at £25 a month less than I was paying - £65 against £90 - so pleased with the result

      Just make sure that the written offer is exactly the same as you were offered.

    Written offer is the same and I have accepted - how long before I can see it on Myvirginmedia?
