Hi recently renewed my contract was quoted £65.70 with email confirmation. Recieved my bill and the main service price is different. How do I get this resolved as I feel I have been mislead by virginmedia and not what I agreed to via email confirmation.

Welcome back to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your contract renewal. Is the amount on your bill double the amount that you agreed? If so, this would be because we charge one month in advance, so there would be a double bill for your first bill and then would return to the agreed amount going forward. Hi Steven no the main service price is £69.20 not the £65.70 as agreed. Had an online virtual chat with a mohit and was told this would be amended within 14 days but nothing has happened.

Have you had a a new bill or anything yet which shows the adjusted price on?
Hi yes I recieved a new contract via email with the agreed new charges.
My new bill i recieved shows main services charge £69.20 which on new contract states that it starts at that price from October 26.

The amount £65.70 started from 8th April 2025 until October
Just says new 18 month contract
Sorry should be October 2026
