Cheque Received

Recently moved home and closed my broadband account, have now received an unexpected cheque for £141 attached to a letter, unsure whether it looks entirely legit, however what would someone gain from sending a cheque?!

I understood my account was a nil balance, my router was returned so unsure why a credit would be due and a cheque issued, any ideas why this might be?!

Consider signing into My Virgin Media and checking recent bills for possible source of refund.

BTW cheque is method of refund Virgin Media use.

I'd have deposited the cheque via by now & cancelled the direct debit too.
