Can't switch to paperless billing

Hi Virgin Media Community, I'm having trouble switching to paperless billing. After spending hours on hold and exchanging countless WhatsApp messages, I was told it was sorted, but I'm still getting paper bills. They even offered £5 compensation, but that wasn't applied correctly. Has anyone else experienced this, and how did you resolve it?
