Can't switch to ebilling

I've just moved home and switched packages, and have been charged for paper billing. I was never asked if I wanted to sign up to paper billing, and was previously on ebilling before the house move/package change.

Like so many other people on here I've tried to follow the 'Switch to eBilling' instructions on the VM website (https://my.virginmedia.com/discover/welcome/your-bill/ebilling.html_1) but they don't tally with the new layout of the site. I've looked absolutely everywhere and can't find any option to change.

Please help!

    The link you posted to switch to ebilling is an old one that hasn't been used for at least a couple of years.

    The method that's generally posted now is to sign into My Virgin Media and click on Account Settings > Marketing & Account Preferences > Contact Preferences > and then highlight the drop down box so it says Email/ Text Messages/ Phone Call/ Post  - apparently that sets up ebilling, however it doesn't always seem to work.

    If not, a member of the forum team may help with this in  a day or two.

      Thank you for this advice - if this is the case it's ridiculous that the advice that's on the VM website is so out of date, and if this is the new method for switching to ebilling, it's really vague! Particularly as the drop down option you've mentioned includes post, and in my case at least, was already selected.

      In any case, I appreciate you replying, and I've just had a PM from a forum team member so will hopefully get this sorted soon. 😀
