Can't get a renewal deal despite my broadband almost doubling in price

I can't get a renewal deal on my corrent 1gbit internet. In "My Account" it has the below image displayed. So I click the "Explore your renewal deals"

And then this screen appears

Now its costing me over £80 a month for my broadband & TV and it isn't really affordable so was really hoping I could look at current offers. But if there aren't any available I may end up just having to switch to a provider that isn't going to cost me so much. I have seen various other deals elsewhere for less than 30 a month for 900Mbps, or even 2500Mbps for just over 40 a month.

VM will be delighted if you accept their new price right away, but they will not be surprised if you phone in and negotiate.

When you do so, have some actual prices from competitors to quote to them. They will keep you if they can.

So why don't you change providers then as you have done the research by looks of it???? They have proper fibre all the way to the home, it will feel faster because of much less latency than VM (assuming you are coax or RFoG), and if they are an ALTNET, they may even provide same upload speed as download speed and some even offer no in contract price increases. Its literally 1.5 hours usually for an FTTP install. You could always use NOW TV or get a Sky Stream box from Sky around Black Friday for a deal to go with your broadband. You still here? :)
