Cannot access renewal offers...or any offers

My contract has since lapsed (my fault, didn't write the dates down!) and when trying to view my online offers both in the app and website, it just directs me to livechat without showing ANY offers.

I seem to be stuck in a loop where I can't access anything. Is this deliberate?

    This issue gets very regular mentions on here.

    Deliberate, or not, who can say? But, when the offers feature does not work, you are compelled to contact VM which gives VM sales agents an opportunity to engage with you and try to upsell you more stuff than you might consider if you are just presented with a ready-made offer.

    ... and when you do engage, make sure you have your facts and figures about the other ISP's of your choice.  Don't be afraid of leaving either, it's not the end of the world.  I stayed for a long time, but I've since left twice, gone elsewhere and came back.  It's never been easier to vote with your wallet.

    This is such a common issue that you didn't need to give a detailed explanation, the title was quite enough.  VM don't want you to choose the best deal for you. They want to push you to the most lucrative deal for them, often starting with a much higher speed than you need. 

    As others have said, decide for yourself what you want from a new contract. If your last deal met your needs, don't be tempted to be locked into paying more for two years.  Find out what other suppliers will quote and use that as your break point with VM. 

  • Thanks everyone. I've put in my 30 day notice as there are some good deals elsewhere. I'll see if retentions can give me a better offer instead
