Cancel renewal of contract
I agree, this is not made clear at the time of renewing at all. I caught this we the confirmation email came through and after several attempts to contact customers services, very, very long waits and a few complaints raised and think I have been able to cancel the renewal (Although I've had no confirmation email).
I also got an email saying that I needed to replace my old Vivo box in order to use Netflix and that this could be done for free. After several attempts to contact customers services, very, very long waits and a few complaints raised, they are telling me that the only way to get a replacement box is to upgrade to a more expensive, less services package.
I will keep logging complaints until I get confirmation that I remain out of contact, then the next customer services team I will be contacting will be Sky's.
