This is a customer forum so you may have to wait some time for a VM person to pick this up.

I hope for your sake you have kept evidence of that promise.

  • Hi Mr123 👋 Thank you for your post and welcome to the Virgin Media Community 😀

We're sorry to hear that the bill credit you're expecting hasn't been applied as of yet 😔

In line with what jpeg1 has stated, do you have evidence of the promise?

Please pop back to us at your earliest convenience.

    Regards,
    Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

Please find screenshots of my conversation with virgin media customer service on the 6 May 2025

It would be great if any one can help. My first bill still show up as £188 instead of £113.

    Thank you

    Mr123

Hey Mr123, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community, we are sorry to hear about your billing issue.

What was this credit promised for?

If it was a promotional credit often these are added onto the second bill.

    Hello Matthew,

I was told by the cancellation team that they can give me £75 credit if I don't cancel my broadband contract with you guys because I'm a new customer of virgin media broadband I'm eligible for this credit. This was before I received my broadband. Is this credit  even exist  or am I being lied to, so that I don't cancel my broadband with you guys.

    Thank you

    Mr123

They will want to see evidence that £75 was promised. The amount doesn't show on the links you posted, so you may have to insist on getting a copy of the phone call when it was promised.

Thanks for coming back to us Mr123. If you have been promised a credit as part of your deal that will still be applied to your account. As jpeg1 advised, do you have proof of the deal that includes the £75 credit. Please just let us know if you have it, please don't share any screenshots in the open Forum. We can take the proof via private message later on.

        Kind Regards,

        Steven_L

    Hello jpeg1 and Steven,

Do I have to ask for SADR, so I can have my £75 credit? I didn't record the conversion on my own because I trust you guys to honour this credit on the phone.

    Thank you

Was the £75.00 credit itemised on the newly issued contract at all Mr123?

You should be able to view your contract to review this via this section of your self-care account.

      Thanks,

If this isn't itemised on the contract, nor elsewhere on any of the documentation we have offered to you, we wouldn't be in a position to issue this credit.

We'd need to advise that all claims in relation to credit value of package price would be evidence based.

Sorry we're not in a position to offer tis credit.

      Thanks,

      David_Bn
