Additional stream box activation fee

Hi

I just ordered an extra stream box and was charged 40.00 activation fee on top of the 5.00 per month rental. This seems excessive considering its just a small box that arrives in the post and i set up myself. SoI phoned virgin and they completely agreed, telling me they would cancel the original order and the extra fees, great, so then this morning got the email saying on next bill there will be 35.00 activation fee plus 5.00 delivery. My doctor wonders why my bp is through the roof

    Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community Forums, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with an activation fee. We have no control of the fees that are set up at the point of a customer ordering additional TV equipment or a new Hub, at the time there can be an activation fee or an installation fee, it is down to the agent should they choose to either remove or reduce that fee if and were possible.
