Activate Netflix Premium - Nightmare Experience

Hi there,

I recently renewed my Virgin Media for 24 months.

They told me that I need to call Virgin Media again to activate my Netflix Premium deal.

This is utterly ridiculous. I’ve tried twice and been on hold for 20 mins with no answer. Is there a reason why I can’t just be put on to Netflix premium by the renewals team? Or have it handled at the same time.

Physically having to call Virgin Media is one of the worst things to have to do, as you cannot get through to them. And now I am unable to download to my Netflix app to watch whilst I travel.

anyone else have to go through this hell?

  • Hi Burakiosaurus,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

We're sorry to hear you're having issues with activating Netflix. It's worth noting that all packages with Netflix included are Netflix Standard with Ads. If you want Netflix Premium, there would be an additional charge on your bill each month.

The activation side of things is certainly something we can check for you but in order to do that I'll need to confirm some information with you to pass security. I've sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. Just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. :)

    Many thanks,

I am absolutely fine with the additional charge. I told this to your colleague who renewed my contract. I have responded to your DM.

Still utterly ridiculous that this is such a long winded process to get back onto Netflix Premium, which I previously had.

Hoping we can get it sorted out ASAP.
