1 gig broadband offer
i was offered a deal and was told the agent would confirm last friday at about 9. she did not call and so i called in and was told that they would message her to call me. after 2pm o called in again and was told due to the new e mail system, the agent could not find the previous agent but offered to help. the deal offered was the same as my existing package but to upgrade to 1 gig and have the new router. the new agent stated she could not get 1 gig but could down grade from 600mbits to 500mbits, but for £6 less per month, which ties in with the on line prices. if i put my postcode in for a package i am offered 1g, so i called faults today to see if there was an issue. he offered to sent me a 1 gig router (new type) and could upgrade my package from 500m to 1 git, the cost would be an extra £69 per month.
he also stated that the phone line via the rj11 from the router was not 'wired'. bit worrying. so why could i not get my original deal on friday... any ideas?
