Package Deal not met
I signed up for the m350 broadband deal £28.99, a price that is confirmed in my pre-contract summary and is still currently available on the Virgin Media website. However, I currently see my bill will be £66 a month. I reached out last Friday through the online chat and an agent said the relevant discount was not applied and to contact again in 48 hours. Today the first agent also told me there was a discount application issue and passed me on to another member of the team who proceeded to try and move me on to a different more expensive and longer contract and would not allow me to speak to another member of the team. Could someone assist me on this situation?Asian Mela added to my account
So just got my virgin media bill and noticed it had gone up ? after viewing the bill it’s telling me that I’ve changed my package and now have had added Asian Mela package !!!! I did not add this or authorise it to be added, looking at the forums it appears this has happened to other VM customers, not happy about this as that’s £16 I can not afford to lose !!!Broadband contract end-date unclear
Looking the below picture from the Virgin Media app, it is unclear to me which is my contract end-date. Is it 2nd March 2025 or 3rd January 2025? I need to know this to either renew my contract or switch provider. Please make this clear and easily accessible in the app and the website.2.3KViews0likes1CommentReturning Kit
Hello. For weeks now I have been waiting for the prepaid packaging to return my kit. I've even tried asking for new packaging to be sent to me, but I have not received anything. Virgin media have sent me a letter, have been emailing and texting me about returning the kit. This morning they sent an email and text saying if they don't receive in a week, they will charge me. It's kit I do not want or need, it's ready to be sent back. What are my options, what do I do? Really getting the feeling they don't want the kit back and would rather take the money...5.5KViews0likes1CommentPackage Change ?!
I received my next e-bill (2nd bill of the contract) and it shows a £13 increase for 'package changes' which has all my current package and covers a 5 day period in June?! I have not made any request for changes as my existing discounted contract is until 2025. I cannot find out any specific details on my bill. What's going on? Has anyone had anything similar? I upgraded to a new contract a week ago. I received the pre-contract documents and an order confirmation email. The estimated activation date in the order confirmation email was 02 April 24. Now it's 05 April 24 and still have not been upgraded and I'm still being billed the old price. Please send me a PM.445Views0likes1CommentOnline Account Offers To Upgrade Package A Scam?
I have an offer to upgrade my package to 1 gig broadband and a £10pm O2 SIM, the full order went through and I have received documents by email to acknowledge the order with new contracts. It has never showed on my account and 3 weeks later I still have nothing. I have contacted support on 5 occasions over whatsapp in this time and to begin with I was told to wait a little longer for it to show up and go through. Each time they have tried to up-sell me something different at a much higher cost. The offer is still on my account and I can still take it through to my basket and take it out again. I suggested that I do this again to the final operative I spoke with and they encouraged me to take up their inflated offer instead as I may have the same problem (No surprise there). I get the feeling that these online offers in your account area dont mean anything to Virgin Media and are just an excuse to get you to contact them when it doesn't go through and then try to sting you for more money. Iv raised complaints with VM. Iv also taken screen grabs of all the conversations, the offers still on my account along with the contracts they sent through by email and will contact the Advertising Standards Authority to see if any rules are being broken.1KViews0likes4CommentsCan't Change Package
I'm trying to adjust my package to see if I can save a bit of money (i.e. dropping tv) but whenever I try to go to see what offers there are, it takes me straight to just renewing the deal I had - the contract expired in August, so shouldn't be an issue? I'm also wanting to cancel the O2 simcard which I never use, but I'm sure I was told the contract price would cover its cost, so I'm now paying £15 extra a month for a simcard I never use!1.5KViews0likes6Comments
