Help cancelling renewal.
Please can someone help me? I accepted a renewal offer sent to me via email entitled “same package, new price”. However, I’ve just received the pre-contract documents through and it is missing the second TV box I have currently, missing Netflix standard that I have currently, Disney + is randomly added with a note to say it will be billed as extra each month!?!? Can someone from Virgin Media help correct this please? I renewed my Virgin Media contract a few days ago. As part of this process I received Virgin Media Information Sheet which I was happy with however I have now received a Service Change Receipt with less services and increased costs. I have tried calling customer services however the only option I have there is to cancel my contract. I therefore have 2 questions. How do I attempt to sort this out? Hi All, Recently tried to renew my mortgage and discovered that Virgin Media have added a late payment marker to my credit file, even though this payment was not late and I had previously been in discussion with Kath on this platform regarding this payment as it was higher then normal for that amount. I've checked my bank records and this was taken inline with my normal virgin media payments. This was in November 2023 and since then I've been declined for a credit card and my mortgage. This is greatly upsetting and is impacting me financially for something that is not my issue. I'd appericate this sorted as soon as possible. I've also emailed the complaint line and will be reaching out to anyone else in Virgin Media about this as its frankly unacceptable that this occured when the payment was not late as it was taken from my account at the same time as all other payments.1.9KViews0likes7CommentsAdditional feature (18)
According to my bill I've spent £6.99 on said service on 24/04/2024 which I know is impossible as I was aboard on holiday at the time. Live chat are about as much use as a wet sponge and tell me I am liable for the charge when I don't understand how I can be as I was not at home and nobody had access to my house.
