And yet again, an inside job Hack with Virgin!!!!!
Well, here we are again, email hacked again from inside Virgin (INSIDE JOB). if you check my last post when this happened, I did a lot of digging (I'm an analyst, it's my job to leave no stone unturned) most of my accounts with the email address ended up getting hacked (Facebook, Spotify etc) after receiving an email asking for a bitcoin payment and the IP address the email came from just happened to be on the virgin network and the amount of people it happened to on Virgin was shocking, it was an old blueyonder email not attached to a valid account (nice easy scam). Well, it's just happened again with my email which is not PWND (the excuse used by virgin last time) So, I have just received around 4 emails from vinted, 1 to change my email address 2. To change password 3. Confirmed email change 4. Confirmed password change Now, it does not take a mastermind to work out how this has been done, the culprit has access to my email account, the address and password are not PWND (leaked online) so that only leaves one possible way this was done and that is internally or by someone internal passing or selling the info to someone external (not difficult for the I.T. dept to work out who it is). So, if there is a Virgin Media moderator on this message board I would like you to direct message me regarding this as its not on and I am now considering going public to the press about this, I do not pay you a monthly fee for your staff to start using my email address and password to gain access to my online accounts. Regards Bossman 2 PS: (I suggest you read my previous thread before contacting me so your up to speed or I will wipe the floor with you before I go to the national press).628Views0likes9CommentsAccount Compromised
Hello, hoping a member of VM staff can assist me on here. My virgin email address is a legacy @blueyonder.co.uk one, which I still use as my primary email. I am locked out of my email all together including on my phone and desktop. This leads me to believe that my Virgin email has been compromised. It is imperative that my access to this email is restored asap. I’m not too keen on giving much info away on an open forum, so am hoping I can get a DM regarding this.413Views0likes3CommentsBlueyonder email address hacked
Hi, my primary email address of username@blueyonder.co.uk was hacked not long after I received an extortion email a week ago telling me to pay up to avoid compromising photos of me being distributed to my accounts. Worryingly, the email included the genuine password for my email account. I've changed My Virgin Media password and the password for the client app I normally use to access my emails. I'm not sure if this change feeds through to my webmail password. The Virgin Media site says it doesn't but an agent says it does. My hacked email has been used to access my Etsy and Ebay accounts - I've arranged for these to be closed. I've also set up active forwarding on my username@blueyonder.co.uk account but some has used it to access my Shopify account. I've now closed it. So my email address is floating about on the internet ripe for misuse. Ideally I would like to delete my blueyonder email address but I understand I can only do this if I cancel all my Virgin Media services. Is there no way of replacing it with a virginmedia.com address? Also, how can I be sure the blueyonder.co.uk webmail address has been changed and so avoid it being hacked again? Many thanksSolved2.7KViews0likes4CommentsNTLWorld email hacked
Hello, Today I have received lots of emails from all my accounts that ‘Forgot my Password’ has been requested. These emails are then getting clicked and moved/deleted infront of my eyes. Someone obviously has access to my email account. Can anyone suggest anything/help? I can’t find an option to log out of all devices, i’ve set up the App password hoping this would log them out but I’m not sure. I really need help ASAP as they are accessing all my accounts (facebook, etsy etc) as they are just resetting my passwords, even if i reset them again they just reset them again. Ive tried live chatting Virgin but they just told me to log out on all devices? How can i do this when the issue is that someone i don’t know is logged into my account??1.1KViews0likes1Comment
