Device connects to WiFi but not Internet? Hub 4
I’ve got a new Roberts Revival radio that I can connect to our Virgin Hub 4, but despite connecting to the WiFi network, the device seems to not be able to connect to the internet. This is isolated to this one device, all other devices connect to the Virgin WiFi and internet perfectly fine and I’ve never had this issue with any other device so unsure what could be going wrong. The device is able to connect to the internet fine when I use my local iPhone hotspot WiFi, or connect to one of our BT WiFi extender discs so assuming it’s something specific to the way in which the device is interacting with the Hub but can’t for the life of me work out what might be going wrong! Any advice would be much appreciated, I’m very much a rookie at diagnosing with WiFi and internet network issues.Reset registered devices
Each time I use the tv go app it asks me to re register my device even though it is already registered. This means I keep running out of changes and can no longer use the tv go app on my phone…even though it’s registered. Please can my devices be reset? I don’t know how else to solve this. It appears to be an on going, known issue. Is this being resolved so that it doesn’t keep happening??22Views0likes1CommentUnknown Ethernet IPhone device connected
Hello, I have just had the hub 5 installed and added all of my devices one by one and listing all MAC addresses as they are added. All iOS and Android devices have private WiFi address switched off. I had a Quick Look into the admin panel last night and have seen a random iPhone device has connected by Ethernet. I have done a general google search of the MAC address and it comes back as possibly randomized. Would a randomized MAC address mess with things and confuse the system into thinking it is connected via Ethernet?. Also how can I remove this device from my network either via the admin panel or through the app? just to add I don’t have any devices connected with Ethernet. Thank You280Views0likes2Comments
