Installation vs Delivery
Been trying to set up VM for a new place being moved into, New place has had VM in the past so no installation required, just plugging in, No-one is currently at the address to be installed, Asked VM sales to send to current address instead, which was confirmed, Tracking Order shows the installation address instead, Phoned up multiple times and each time the agent confirms to send the package to the current address, Inevitably, they keep trying to deliver to the installation address where no-one currently resides Is this an automated process that the agents cannot control?17Views0likes1CommentPre - contract documents received, then radio silence
I signed up to a broadband only contract a number of weeks ago. I then received a pre-contract document email and order summary. This email stated further information would follow, such as the contract, and that we would also hear from YODEL regarding delivery information. Since then we have heard absolutely nothing more from virgin or yodel. i have tried every possible method of contacting customer service, live chat, called god knows how many numbers, most of which were said to be unused despite being recommended by the website or emails or live chat. Those that were in use require an account number which I haven’t been sent and have no option to circumvent this. The only number that was successful then redirected me to another number as the operator could not help with my query. This redirected number was also no longer in use and I got hung up on. As I've seen some older posts stating that it's possible to open another contract under my name/account as my mother has been with VM for 14+ years. VM telephone team did not offer any decent price reductions as we wanted to just cut off the Tv/Landline services and only stick to broadband and seeing the deals for new customers astounds me. Ideally we would want to use the existing broadband before I start a new contract. My mothers contract should be ending on the 26th this month and we wouldn't want to be without internet so I've been thinking of opening a contract of my own to start early as I don't know how long it would take for VM to deliver.
