Ntlworld email password change
Hello, I am trying to reset my email password - I have continued to use my original @ntlworld.com email from way back and have only ever had access to this email address through the Apple Mail app on my iPhone. Unfortunately, there was some kind of hacking incident and I really need to change my emails password. I have tried to access my mailbox through the Virgin Media online portal but this was met with an error message saying emails cannot be displayed. I have a number of very important emails that I cannot just stop using the account. I do not have a linked/related virgin media email account and know of no way to change my password. This email address is also the one I use to sign up to everything for and I have outstanding bookings and tickets etc attached to this account so not having access is a major issue. My question is, how do I go about changing my ntlworld password? I am reluctant to do anything until I have the process confirmed because of the hacked issue and potentially locking myself out entirely and losing everything. I’m aware that VM stopped supporting NTL World email addresses but I’m really hoping that you can help or guide me at the very least. Any help would be enormously appreciated.1.5KViews0likes9CommentsWhy can't I change password and/or email to sort "Forbidden" error
Having got the "Forbidden" error message on all my Apple devices (but Windows access working okay) I was told to change my password to fix it. However, to change my p/w I apparently have to change my email address to a non-Virgin email account. I've tried to change address to a Gmail address. I got the "verify your new email address" email in to my Gmail in-box, but when I click the link in it taking me to a log-in page, I'm told I haven't verified the address. I'm going around in circles. Meanwhile my old address is fortunately still working. Any suggestions as to how to change my password without changing my email address? Or failing that how to change my email address when I'm unable to "verify" it?736Views0likes3CommentsChanging password - going around in circles need a moderator

I found an email from yesterday which appears to be from a moderator in my spam box saying if I click the link I can directly change my password (presumably without changing email address). It looked a bit dodgy but I'm getting desperate so I tried it out - the page it took me to look real so I tried to make the change - and it said "the token had expired". If this was from a moderator can you please send it again?Solved847Views1like2Comments
